DESCRIPTION: Jump Through and Jump Backs are integral components of the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga practice. These dynamic movements require a combination of strength, flexibility, and mindful coordination. Practicing Jump Through and Jump Backs can enhance the fluidity and flow of your practice, as well as build strength in the core, arms, and shoulders. Days: Wednesday & Friday at 11:30am Level: Welcome to all level Highlights for Jump Through and Jump Backs: 1. Master Seamless Transitions: Learn the art of fluidity and grace as you effortlessly jump through and jump back between yoga postures. 2. Core Strength and Stability: Develop a strong and stable core as you engage your abdominal muscles to power your jumps. 3. Upper Body Engagement: Build upper body strength and strengthen your shoulders, arms, and chest through the dynamic movements of jump through and jump backs. 4. Unlock Your Flow: Deepen your vinyasa flow practice by integrating jump through and jump backs, enhancing the energetic connection between each pose. 5. Mind-Body Connection: Experience a heightened sense of body awareness and focus as you mindfully coordinate your breath with the movements of your jumps. Prerequisites for the Jump Through and Jump Back Classes: 1. Basic Knowledge of Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga: Participants should have a fundamental understanding of the Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga practice. Familiarity with the primary series, including the sun salutations, standing postures, and seated postures, is necessary.
